EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Borough of Cornwall is accepting applications for the position of LABORER with its Department of Public Works. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package and a starting wage of $24.00 - $28.00/hour depending on qualifications.
Normal working hours are during the day Monday-Friday. For approximately six months of the year, employees work four, ten-hour days with three days off each week. The other six months of the year, employees work five, eight-hour days with two days off each week.
Overtime is required for situations involving inclement weather, water/sewer main breaks, and roadway projects.
A CDL Class B license is preferred but not a requirement to apply. The successful applicant will be expected to attain a CDL within six months of hire.
