It is urgent that Borough Council make property owners in Cornwall Hills aware of their responsibilities regarding the trees at the edge of their properties that border Elizabeth Run, a small tributary that runs through Karinchville.  In some cases, trees have fallen across the stream,  blocking the flow of water and creating a flooding hazard for properties upstream. Trees have also fallen onto the property of homeowners on Hillside Street, specifically the abandoned property at 112 Hillside Street.  Some trees are also leaning dangerously toward properties on Hillside Street, specifically behind 110 Hillside.  This is truly a case of an accident waiting to happen.  I respectfully ask Borough Council to be pro-active and contact Cornwall Hills property owners to advise them of the situation and to ask them to remedy it.

Thanks for making this forum available to borough residents!
